We use am and pm to tell us if the
time we’re talking about is the morning or the evening, if it is before noon or
after noon. During the morning, before noon, we
call it am. And in the evening, afternoon, we
call it pm. Do you go to bed in the am or the
pm? We go to bed in the evening,
afternoon. We go- go to bed in the pm.
