We can see in the model that there are seven balls. And we have to take away four of them.
So here we have seven balls. Let’s subtract or take away four. One, two, three, four. How many balls are left? One, two, three. Seven minus four is three.
We found our answer using the model. And we took away four balls which left us with three.
