Video Transcript
In this video, we will show you how to use the portal search.
The search functionality is consistent across the admin, educator, and student accounts. If you look at the top right-hand side of the portal, you’ll see a magnifying glass next to your username.
If you click on the magnifying glass, you’ll see a search box appear. Now, you can search for the lesson that you are looking for.
For example, if we wanted to find a lesson on “Volume of a Sphere”, write this in the box and press “Enter” or click the magnifying glass again!
You’ll now see the lesson called “Volumes of Spheres” at the top of the list. If you click on this, you’ll see the lesson video, the question videos, and an associated worksheet. If you are signed in as an admin or educator, you’ll be able to preview the worksheet and the answers will be highlighted green. If you are a student, you can preview the worksheet, but you will not be able to see the answers. As a student, you will also have the option to practise questions from the worksheet, receiving instant feedback on your answers.
It’s also worth noting that, once on the lesson page, on the right-hand side, you’ll see a list of related lessons, which can be used to help discover resources linked to this lesson. For example, you could look at “Surface Areas of Spheres”.
