We’re shown a picture of some giraffes, and the first thing the question tells us is to count them. Let’s use counters to represent each of the giraffes to make sure we count them accurately. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. The second part of the question tells us that we have to show the same number of trees. If there are nine giraffes, then we need nine trees.
