If Natalie drinks 112 fluid ounces of water every day, how many cups of water will she drink in 14 weeks?

Whilst it might not be that commonly used, a cup is a measure of volume or capacity. In the United States, one cup is equal to eight fluid ounces. We are told in this question that Natalie drinks 112 fluid ounces of water every day. We can convert this into cups by dividing 112 by eight. This is equal to 14. We can, therefore, say that Natalie drinks 14 cups of water per day. There are seven days in a week, so we can multiply this by seven to calculate the number of cups she drinks in a week. 14 multiplied by seven is 98.

As we want to calculate the number of cups of water she drinks in 14 weeks, we need to multiply 98 by 14. 100 multiplied by 14 is 1400. Two multiplied by 14 is 28. Subtracting these, we see that 98 multiplied by 14 is 1372. If Natalie drinks 112 fluid ounces of water every day, she will drink 1372 cups in 14 weeks.
