Five different sixth grade classes took a mathematics test. The table shows the percentage of students who passed the test in each class. In class A, the success rate was 55 percent; in class B, 65 percent; class C, 90 percent; class D, 80 percent; and class E, 85 percent. Which class has the highest success rate?

As we’re looking for the highest success rate, we need to find the largest number or largest percentage. 90 percent is greater than 55, 65, 80, and 85 percent. This means that class C had the highest success rate. If we did need to order the classes from highest to lowest, we would have class C, class E, class D, class B, and then class A.
