Express 0.16 to the power of one-half equals 0.4 in its equivalent logarithmic form.

In order to answer this question, we recall that if 𝑎 to the power of 𝑏 is equal to 𝑥, then log base 𝑎 of 𝑥 is equal to 𝑏. Our base value 𝑎 is equal to 0.16. The exponent or power 𝑏 is equal to one-half. And our value for 𝑥 is equal to 0.4. This means that in logarithmic form log to the base 0.16 of 0.4 is equal to one-half. We can convert any expression in exponential form to logarithmic form or vice versa using this rule.
