Use the histogram to find the number of students who are between 60 and 70 inches tall.

At the bottom of our histogram, we can see the height is measured in inches. And on the left, its the frequency — how often this happens. And then again the students’ height, that’s again in inches. So we’re to find the number of students who are between 60 and 70 inches tall. So that will include the 60-inch students and the 70-inch tall students.

So how many students are 60 inches tall? We need to look at the frequency and they are six. And now for 70, they are four. So we add them together. And we add them together to get 10. Therefore, there are 10 students who are between 60 inches and 70 inches tall.
