Four factories produce concrete. The percentage of the total amount of concrete each factory produces is shown in the table. Arrange the factories in descending order according to the amounts they produce. Factory 𝐴 produces 38 percent of the concrete; factory 𝐵 produces 18 percent; factory 𝐶, 35 percent; and finally, factory 𝐷 produces 9 percent.

We need to order these in descending order. This means from largest to smallest. The largest of the four percentages is 38 percent. This is followed by 35 percent. Next, we have 18 percent. And finally, the smallest percentage is 9 percent. Arranging the factories in descending order according to the amount of concrete they produce, we have factory 𝐴, factory 𝐶, factory 𝐵, factory 𝐷.
