Does the following figure have rotational symmetry? If yes, find the angle of rotation.

If a figure has rotational symmetry, we can rotate it less than 360 degrees, meaning less than a full turn, and it will look exactly the way it did before we turned it. So looking at our figure, it may help to make each side a different colour. So if we would take this figure and turn it upside down, the pink would be on the bottom and the blue would be at the top. And it would still look like the exact same shape. It would look something like this.

So turning this upside down, it looks exactly the same as we said. But how many degrees did we have to turn it? Turning completely around will be 360 degrees, so we went halfway there. So divide it by two, that would be 180 degrees.

Therefore, yes, this figure has rotational symmetry, and the angle of rotation would be 180 degrees.
