Complete the pattern. 29, 31, what, what, 37.

We’re given a pattern and we have to find the two missing numbers. The pattern begins with number 29. And the next number in the sequence is number 31. What’s happening to the numbers? Well, we know that 31 is more than 29, so we know the numbers are increasing or getting bigger each time.

How much do we need to add to 29 to get to 31? If we add one to 29, we get 30. And if we add another one, we get to 31. 29 plus two is 31. So, to find the next number in the pattern, we need to add two to 31, 32, 33. The first of all missing numbers is number 33.

And so, to find our second missing number, we need to add two to 33, 34, 35. 33 add two is 35. We’ve completed the pattern. The pattern is 29, 31, 33, 35, 37. We had to add two each time. We completed the pattern with the two missing numbers, number 33 and 35.
