A triangle is translated from position A to position B. Complete this sentence. The triangle has moved the missing number of squares to the right and the missing number of squares down.

To find out how many squares the triangle has moved to the right, let’s compare the starting position of this point on triangle A and the end position, which is the same point on triangle B. By how many squares has the point we marked moved to the right? The triangle has moved six squares to the right.

Now let’s count how many squares the triangle has moved down. It has moved five squares down. The triangle has moved six squares to the right and five squares down.
