Noah’s missing number.
Let’s think about Charlotte’s
number. What number is five more than
69? 70, 71, 72, 73, 74. Charlotte should say number 74. What number should Noah say? 64, 69, 74, 79. Did you notice the pattern? Six tens, four ones; six tens, nine
ones; seven tens, four ones; seven tens and nine ones. The next number in the sequence is
84. Noah should say number 84. And Charlotte should say number
74. 64, 69, 74, 79, 84.
