Each class in a school earns reward stickers. The picture graph shows how many stickers each class had got at the end of the year. Which class earned the most stickers? How many stickers did the blue class get?

The picture graph shows us the number of reward stickers won in a year. There are four different classes pink class, blue class, orange class, and green class. And we know that each star is worth 10 stickers. We need to work out which class earned the most stickers.

Pink class has four stars, and we know that each star is worth 10 stickers, so pink class had 10, 20, 30, 40 stickers. Now let’s count the number of stars in blue class, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50. There are five stars which is worth 50 stickers. Orange class had 10, 20, 30 stickers. And green class had 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 stickers. The class which earned the most stickers is the green class.

The second part of the question asks us to work out how many stickers blue class got. As we’ve already counted the number of stickers in each class, we can say that blue class got 50 stickers. Blue class had five stars, and each star is worth 10 stickers, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50.
