Find the complement of 𝑋 using the Venn diagram.

This is called the complement of set 𝑋. It’s a set of all elements that belong to the set 𝑒 except the elements of set 𝑋. So essentially, we want all of the elements that are in 𝑋.

These blue elements are not in the set 𝑋, because here’s the set 𝑋. So the elements in 𝑋 are five, three, two, and one. So the elements that we want are circled in blue. Therefore, the complement of 𝑋 is the set of elements eight, seven, nine, six, and four.
