In this video, we will show you how you can use your portal as a student.

If it’s the very first time that you are logging in, head over to www.nagwa.com and click on “Sign In”. Input your account username, as given by your teacher, and you will be asked to create and confirm your password. If you’ve already completed this step, input your password and log in.

Once you’re logged in, if your teacher has assigned any courses to your class, you’ll see these on your home page. If you want to start working through the courses independently, or as directed by your teacher, click on the course and choose the lesson that you’d like to start working on.

Generally, lessons contain a lesson video to teach you the required content for the topic along with a worksheet where you can practise and receive instant feedback on a wide variety of questions ranging in difficulty. We recommend watching the lesson videos first and then practising the worksheets.

To start working on assessments assigned to you by your teacher, click on “Assessments” in the toolbar and you’ll see a list of all past and current assessments. For closed assessments, you can view reports to see how you got on, and for open assessments, you can jump straight in and start answering the questions.

Note that, with assessments, you won’t receive instant feedback. You’ll have to wait until the deadline is reached before you can see the results.

To access any exams assigned to you, click on “Exam” in the toolbar and, much like with assessments, you’ll see a list of all past and current exam assessments. For open exams, you’ll only be able to open and download the blank paper. Once the deadline is reached, the solution paper and videos will then be released.

We recommend printing off the exam paper and completing it in exam conditions. This will give you an authentic revision experience and help you get “exam trained.” Once the exam deadline passes, download our easy-to-understand solutions and use this to mark your work. For any questions where you are not 100% confident, we strongly recommend watching the associated solution videos. These will provide you with step-by-step solutions to the questions and help you gain the confidence with the topics that you find most difficult.

Finally, to keep track of your progress, click “Reports” in the toolbar. You’ll now see “Assessment Reports” and “Worksheet Reports”. Assessment reports allow you to keep track of the assessments that you have completed, and worksheet reports provide details of all the lesson worksheets that you have practised.
