Find 𝑛 of six for the function 𝑛 of 𝑥 equals three over 𝑥 plus seven.

We know that 𝑛 of 𝑥 equals three over 𝑥 plus seven. This means wherever we’re evaluating the function at 𝑥, we need to plug that value in in the function. We’re interested in 𝑛 of six and so we plug six 𝑛 for 𝑥-variable.

𝑛 of six is equal to three over six plus seven. Six plus seven equals 13. And the numerator doesn’t change. There’s nothing we can divide the numerator and the denominator by to simplify this fraction. And so, we can say that 𝑛 of six is equal to three over 13.
