A game costs 25 pounds. Ben has 19 pounds. How much more money does Ben need to buy the game?

We know he has 19 pounds, but he needs 25 pounds. To find out how much more money Ben needs, we need to find the difference between 25 pounds and 19 pounds or calculate 25 pounds take away 19 pounds. If Ben has one more pound, then he will have 20 pounds. 19 plus one is 20. And if he has five more pounds, then he’ll have 25. 20 plus five is 25. One and five is six. Ben needs six more pounds to buy his game. 25 take away 19 equals six. Ben has 19 pounds. A game costs 25 pounds. Ben will need six more pounds to buy the game.
