Complete the following: Matthew and Anthony are selling lemonade. The ratio of lemonades Matthew sold to those that Anthony sold was four to three. Out of blank lemonades sold, blank have been sold by Anthony.

The ratio of lemonades was four to three. This means that, for every four lemonades Matthew sells, Anthony sells three. Adding these two ratios gives us a total of seven, as four plus three is equal to seven. As four of these were sold by Matthew and three of them were sold by Anthony, we can say that, out of seven lemonades sold, three have been sold by Anthony.
