Find the value of 𝑥 given that the cube root of 𝑥 is equal to negative square root 36.

First thing that we can do is we know that the square root of 36 is six because six times six is six squared that’s equal to 36. So if you square root six squared, you get six.

Now the negative sign was already there, so our next step is to get rid of the cube root. And the way to do that would be to cube both sides. Negative six cubed is negative six times negative six times negative six, which is negative 216.

Therefore, our final answer is that 𝑥 is equal to negative 216.
