Which multiplication property of natural numbers is used in the expression 13 times 45 minus 23 equals 13 times 45 minus 13 times 23?

Let’s look carefully at what has happened. We’ve multiplied 13 by 45. And then, we we’ve multiplied 13 by 23. And we’re subtracting those values. This process where we multiply 13 by every term in our expression is called distribution. And when we use distribution, we base it on the distributive property.
