The cat is about what blocks tall. The giraffe is about what blocks tall. The cat is taller than the giraffe, or the cat is shorter than the giraffe.

We have to work out roughly how many blocks tall the cat is. The blue arrow helps us to see the height of the cat. Now, we can see that the cat is about two blocks tall. Now, we have to see how many blocks tall the giraffe is. One, two, three, four, five, six blocks tall. The giraffe is about six blocks tall.

So, if the cat is about two blocks tall, and the giraffe is about six blocks tall, the cat is the shortest, and the giraffe is the tallest. The cat is about two blocks tall, and the giraffe is about six blocks tall. So, we can say the cat is shorter than the giraffe.
