Which clock shows the time two o’clock?
We’re shown four different clocks. Each clock shows a different time. We have to select the clock which shows the time two o’clock. Let’s look at the first clock. The minute hand is pointing to number 12, which means it’s something o’clock. And the hour hand is pointing to number two. This clock shows the time as two o’clock.
Let’s quickly check the time that’s shown on the other clocks. The second clock shows the time half past two or 2:30. The minute hand is pointing at number six, which means it’s half past something. And the hour hand is just past the number two, so it’s half past two. This clock shows the time quarter to three, which we would write as 2:45. And the final clock shows the time 2:15. The hour hand is pointing to number two, and the minute hand is pointing to number three. So it’s 2:15 or quarter past two. So the first clock shows the time two o’clock.
