Look at Hannah’s abacus. Which number has she made?

Hannah’s abacus has three different colors of beads. These beads tell us how many hundreds Hannah’s number has. The blue beads tell us how many tens her number has. And these beads are the units or the ones.

Let’s count how many units there are in Hannah’s number: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. So Hannah’s number has nine units or nine ones. Now, let’s count the tens: one, two, three, four, five. Now, let’s count the number of hundreds: one, two, three, four, five, six.

The number Hannah has made with her abacus is the number 659.
