Find the missing number: 48 divided by eight equals what number.

On the right of our screen, we have 48 yellow blocks. We should divide them in groupings of eight. Each column has eight blocks.

So we can divide each column into a group. Each of these columns contains eight blocks. To solve the question though, we need to know how many groupings of eight there are.

In our case, how many columns are there? There are six columns that contain eight blocks in each column. This is a representation of 48 divided by eight equals six.
