Find all the numbers between 696 and 724 that are divisible by five and two.
All numbers that end in either a five or a zero are divisible by five. This means that between 696 and 724, there are five numbers that are divisible by five. These are 700, 705, 710, 715, and 720.
We also know that all even numbers are divisible by two. Even numbers end in either zero, two, four, six, or eight. This means that the numbers 700, 710, and 720 are even. The other two numbers 705 and 715 are odd. Therefore, they won’t be divisible by two.
We can, therefore, say that there are three numbers between 696 and 724 that are divisible by both five and two. They are 700, 710, and 720.
