Liam likes reading short stories. He decided to read a new one after finishing his homework at 9 o’clock. Which clock shows the time he starts reading?

The question tells us that Liam is going to start reading when he finishes his homework at 9 o’clock. We have to choose the clock which shows 9 o’clock. We know it’s something o’clock when the minute hand on the clock face is pointing to number 12. The minute hand on the first clock is pointing to number nine. It’s not something o’clock, and it’s not 9 o’clock. So this is not the correct clock.

Let’s look at the second clock. The minute hand or the long hand is pointing to number 12. So it is something o’clock. And the hour hand is pointing to number nine, which means it’s 9 o’clock. And we know that Liam starts reading at 9 o’clock. It’s something o’clock on the third clock. Did you work out the time? The hour hand is pointing to number three, which means it’s 3 o’clock. Liam starts reading at 9 o’clock. The clock which shows this time is the clock in the middle.
