Which of these are lines of symmetry of the letter?

So a line of symmetry will be a place that we could fold the letter. And it would be a mirror image that will land right on top of the other half of itself. So let’s look at line 𝐵 for example. If we would take 𝐴 and fold it directly over that line, this portion of the 𝐴 will land over here and that’s not on the letter 𝐴. So 𝐵 would not be a line of symmetry.

Let’s also look at 𝐴 because it’s similar. If we would fold over this line, this portion of the 𝐴 would flip over and end up here. And that’s not directly on the same spot for the 𝐴. So that does not work either.

So let’s look at option 𝐶. If I would take any piece of the 𝐴 and fold it over that line, so we just look at this piece, it will land right on top of itself perfectly. It would be symmetrical over this line. And it would work for the whole letter. Therefore, line 𝐶 would be a line of symmetry for this letter 𝐴.
