List the first five multiples of 30.

Now the multiples of a number are simply the numbers in its times table. So the multiples of 30 are simply the numbers in the 30 times table. The first five multiples of 30 are therefore the first five numbers in the 30 times table. Let’s write them down.

We have one times 30, two times 30, three times 30, four times 30, and five times 30. Now we just need to multiply these numbers through to give 30, 60, 90, 120, and 150. So the first five multiples of 30 are 30, 60, 90, 120, and 150.
