836 multiplied by 27 equals what.

So we’re going to use long multiplication to help us calculate the answer. First, we’re going to calculate 836 multiplied by seven. Six times seven is 42. Three times seven is 21 plus the four we exchanged makes 25. Eight multiplied by seven is 56 plus the two we exchanged gives us a total of 58. Next, we need to multiply 836 by 20. First, we multiply by the 10 and then we multiply by the two. 10 times two is 20. Adding the zero moves all the digits one place to the left. This is the same as multiplying by 10.

Now we’re going to multiply 836 by the two. Six times two is 12. Three times two is six plus the one we exchanged gives us a total of seven. And eight multiplied by two is 16. Now, we can add these two amounts together to tell us what 836 multiplied by 27 is. Two plus zero is two. Five plus two is seven. Eight plus seven is 15. Five plus six is 11 add the one we exchanged is 12. One and the one we exchanged gives us a total of two.

836 multiplied by 27 equals 22572.
