The first thing we need to think about is what a frequency table is. Frequency is the number of occurrences. A frequency table shows the number of occurrences for given sets, where each of the sets have the same range.

Our first set is from 10 to 19. The range of this data is nine. From 20 to 29 is also a range of nine. We may hop over to the 𝑥 value. We know that the range should be nine. And that means 59 minus nine will equal 𝑥. 𝑥 must be equal to 50.

When 𝑥 equals 50, every set has the same range.
