Using the given figure, answer the following: Does point C lie on the straight line?
Our question says we’re looking at the straight line. What do we know about straight lines? A straight line does not curve and that it extends outward in both directions. If we extend our line in both directions, it would look something like this.
This question is asking if point c lies on the line. The points that lie on the line make up the line. Point A falls on the line. Point B falls on the line. And even point E would fall on the line. But point C does not fall on the line.
So the answer to our question is no. Point C does not fall on the straight line.
