Objectives
Students will be able to
- represent the multiplication of integers using repeated addition and number lines,
- multiply positive and negative integers,
- multiply two negative integers,
- solve real-world problems that involve multiplying integers.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- multiplying natural numbers.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- identifying the properties of the multiplication of integers.
