Lesson Plan: Reflections on the Coordinate Plane Mathematics • 8th Grade

Objectives
Students will be able to
- reflect points, line segments, and polygons in horizontal and vertical lines in all four quadrants,
- write the coordinates of points after a reflection,
- write the coordinates of the original point given the reflected image.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- reflecting in the first quadrant,
- naming and drawing points, lines, line segments, and rays.
