Objectives
Students will be able to

- solve linear equations in one variable by multiplying out parentheses,
- solve real-world problems using algebra.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- solving linear equations by collecting like terms.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- equations of degrees greater than one,
- equations in more than one variable.
