Lesson Plan: Eyes and Light
This lesson plan includes the objectives, prerequisites, and exclusions of the lesson teaching students how to describe the movement of light through different lenses and relate that movement to the structure and function of the eyes.
Objectives
Students will be able to
- describe the movement of light through flat, convex, and concave lenses,
- define reflection and refraction,
- describe the structure and function of the cornea, pupil, iris, lens, optic lens, and retina.

- body systems,
- light,
- senses and the sensory organs,
- the difference between transparent, translucent, and opaque objects.
