Objectives
Students will be able to
- solve systems of nonlinear equations algebraically,
- interpret the solution of a system of nonlinear equations graphically.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- solving systems of linear equations algebraically,
- solving systems of linear equations graphically,
- solving quadratic equations,
- graphing quadratic functions.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- solving systems of equations of degrees greater than two.
