Objectives
Students will be able to
- regroup any number of ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, or hundred thousands,
- write numbers in unit form in multiple ways,
- decompose numbers in multiple ways.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- place value of numbers up to one hundred thousand,
- writing numbers up to 999,999 in words, digits, unit form, and expanded form.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- working with 7-digit numbers (millions).
