Objectives
Students will be able to
- evaluate expressions with brackets and the four operations with numbers up to 100,
- identify the order in which to perform operations,
- write the missing number into an equation to make it correct,
- write the missing operation.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- the order in which to perform multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction,
- the times tables up to .
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- evaluating expressions with indices or roots,
- evaluating expressions with fractions or decimals,
- evaluating expressions with variables.
