Objectives
Students will be able to
- compare numbers using a number line,
- compare numbers by considering the value of the digits,
- order numbers,
- compare and order numbers in standard, word, unit, and expanded forms.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- how to compare and order 5-digit numbers using their knowledge of place value and different representations of numbers.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- working with numbers up to one million, excluding decimals and fractions.
