Objectives
Students will be able to
- investigate how magnets work,
- classify materials according to whether or not they are attracted to magnets,
- define the term magnet.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- everyday objects such as paper clips and safety pins.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- magnetic fields.
