Objectives
Students will be able to
- share quantities into two-part ratios,
- share quantities into three-part ratios,
- find a total quantity or the other part of the given part of the quantity and a ratio,
- solve real-life applications by sharing quantities into a ratio.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- ratio notation,
- fractions and decimals,
- simplifying ratios.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- sharing a quantity into more than three-part ratios,
- finding ratios of quantities.
