Objectives
Students will be able to
- understand the relationships between the side lengths in 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 triangles,
- find missing sides and perimeters in 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 triangles without using trigonometry.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- the Pythagorean theorem,
- angle sums in triangles.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- trigonometry.
