Lesson Plan: Water Conservation
This lesson plan includes the objectives, prerequisites, and exclusions of the lesson teaching students how to describe ways that humans use water and identify ways that we can conserve water.
Objectives
Students will be able to
- describe ways that individuals and businesses use water,
- describe ways that we can conserve water.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- the sources and the relative proportions of salt water, fresh water, frozen water, and liquid water on Earth,
- the distribution of water on Earth,
- the importance of water,
- the proportion of water that is unusable and why.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- the water cycle.
