Objectives
Students will be able to
- count in 1s, 2s, 5s, or 10s to find the value of a group of coins,
- compare the value of groups of coins,
- recognize that different groups of coins can have the same value.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- counting in 2s, 5s, and 10s,
- recognizing coins used in the UK,
- identifying the value of each coin.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- finding the value of a group of coins with mixed denominations.
