Lesson Plan: The Depletion of Nonrenewable Natural Resources Geology

Objectives
Students will be able to
- identify nonrenewable resources in the environment,
- understand the harmful effects of mineral depletion on humans,
- recognize that humans have a high dependency on fossil fuels and discuss their environmental impact,
- summarize the emerging energy alternatives that are less harmful to the environment than fossil fuels.
