  • calculate an unknown value in a data set given its mode.

Prerequisites

Students should already be familiar with

  • calculating the mean of a data set,
  • calculating the median of a data set.

Exclusions

Students will not cover

  • estimating the mode of a data set for grouped data,
  • the mode of grouped data.
