Objectives
Students will be able to
- apply the relationship between multiplication and division to identify related facts,
- use models such as fact family triangles to describe the relationship between two numbers and their product,
- write the division and multiplication expressions that match a given number.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- multiplication arrays,
- making equal groups to model multiplication and division sentences.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- square numbers.
