Objectives

Students will be able to

describe a polygon by its parallel, perpendicular, or intersecting lines,
describe a polygon by its acute, obtuse, or right angles,
describe a polygon by the types of lines and angles it has.

Prerequisites

Students should already be familiar with

identifying acute, obtuse, and right angles,
naming polygons.

Exclusions

Students will not cover

using notation for lines, line segments, or rays,
using notation for parallel and perpendicular lines,
using congruence notation,
using angle measures and angle notation.
