Objectives
Students will be able to
- add matrices up to and including matrices,
- subtract matrices up to and including matrices,
- understand the required conditions for matrix addition and subtraction,
- understand the properties of matrix addition and subtraction.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- the zero matrix,
- the identity matrix.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- scalar multiplication,
- matrix transpositions.
